Sanitary TLB Series Metal Lobe Rotor Pump for Food‑Beverage Mixing and Pharmaceutical Liquid Transfer

The TLB series cam-type metal rotor pump (rotary lobe pump) is a sanitary positive displacement pump engineered for gentle, low-shear transfer and mixing of food, beverage, pharmaceutical and cosmetic media. All wetted parts are made of SUS304/SUS316L stainless steel with a mirror-polished finish and are fully compatible with CIP (Clean-in-Place) and SIP (Steam-in-Place) hygienic requirements.

Two synchronized cam-shaped rotors are mounted on parallel shafts and rotate in opposite directions inside the pump casing, driven by a synchronized gear transmission. As the rotors rotate, the sealed chamber formed between the rotor lobes and the casing periodically changes in volume. On the inlet side, the expanding chamber creates a partial vacuum that draws the medium into the pump; on the outlet side, the contracting chamber pushes the medium out under pressure. Because the two rotors and the rotor-to-casing clearance maintain a small, precise gap without metal-to-metal contact, the pump delivers low-shear, gentle and reversible flow, protecting shear-sensitive products from damage.
