CZJ‑CZK Series Standard Back‑Pull‑Out Centrifugal Pump for Chemical & Petrochemical Industry

The CZJ-CZK series is a single-stage, single-suction, horizontal back-pull-out chemical process pump, designed and manufactured strictly in accordance with DIN 24256 / ISO 5199 international chemical pump standards. It adopts a modular unitized structure that integrates the bearing frame, pump shaft, seal housing and impeller into a complete withdrawable rotor module. Core components across different sizes are highly interchangeable, greatly reducing customer spare parts inventory costs.

Working Principle

The motor drives the pump shaft through the coupling, rotating the impeller at high speed. Liquid enters axially and is accelerated by the impeller to gain kinetic and pressure energy, then collected and pressurized by the volute before discharge. The back-pull-out modular design allows the entire rotor unit (bearing frame, shaft, seal housing and impeller) to be withdrawn toward the motor side by releasing the separable extended coupling, while the casing, inlet/outlet flanges and piping remain in place for easy on-site maintenance of mechanical seals, impeller and bearings.

Product Features
  • ISO 5199 international standard: dimensions, mechanical strength, bearing life and hydraulic performance comply with DIN 24256 / ISO 5199, interchangeable with international equivalent process pumps.
  • Modular withdrawable rotor unit: integrated bearing frame, shaft, seal housing and impeller; components interchangeable across sizes to reduce spare parts variety and inventory.
  • Back pull-out no-pipe-dismantling maintenance: release the separable coupling and withdraw the rotor module without removing casing, piping or motor, shortening downtime.
  • Multiple sealing configurations: single/double mechanical seal or packing seal, matching Plan 11 / Plan 32 / Plan 54 flush plans for toxic, volatile and high-temperature media.
  • Flexible wetted materials: cast iron, 304, 316L stainless steel and duplex stainless steel for weak acid, weak alkali, solvent and salt solution service.
  • Closed high-efficiency impeller with optimized hydraulic model and excellent anti-cavitation performance for long continuous industrial operation.
  • Oil bath lubricated bearing, optional water-cooled bearing frame for high-temperature continuous service.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the back pull-out structure and its practical benefit?
A: The back pull-out (Back-Pull-Out) design lets the whole rotor assembly (impeller, shaft, seal, bearing housing) be withdrawn backward by releasing the separable coupling, without removing or moving the inlet/outlet piping and motor, greatly reducing downtime for continuous production.
Q: What is the main difference between CZJ-CZK and common IH chemical pumps?
A: CZJ-CZK meets the ISO 5199 Class II heavy-duty chemical pump standard with higher bearing and casing strength, better rotor unit modular interchangeability, and a standard separable extended coupling for maintenance without pipe removal; IH pumps are ordinary standard chemical pumps and some models lack a true back-pull-out structure.
Q: Can CZJ-CZK handle media containing a small amount of solid particles?
A: The standard closed impeller version is for clean chemical media. For a small amount of fine solids, customize wear-resistant wear rings or use a semi-open impeller with an inlet filter. High solid content is not recommended; use rotor/screw pumps instead.
Q: Are components really interchangeable across different sizes?
A: Within the same frame size, the bearing frame, seal housing and shaft module are interchangeable for unified spare parts stocking. The impeller and casing vary with flow/head and are not interchangeable, so model parameters must be confirmed at ordering.
Q: What configuration is required for high-temperature media?
A: For media above 150°C, use a water-cooled bearing frame with a high-temperature mechanical seal and matching Plan flush scheme; flanges and bolts should be high-temperature grade.
Q: What are the NPSHr installation requirements?
A: Ensure the available NPSHa is greater than the required NPSHr to avoid cavitation, increased noise and impeller erosion. Keep the inlet pipe as short as possible and reduce elbow resistance.
