The LDG series ribbon type single cone vacuum mixer dryer is specifically configured for pharmaceutical API, pharmaceutical intermediates and heat-sensitive crystalline powder drying under GMP hygienic conditions. Featuring 316L stainless steel contact parts, CIP online cleaning and SIP online sterilization capabilities.

This vertical, fully enclosed batch vacuum drying equipment integrates drying, mixing and material dispersion functions. The vessel features a single cone structure with an internal hollow heating ribbon agitator. Both the external heating jacket and hollow ribbon can be fed with heat transfer medium simultaneously, achieving dual-path heating.

Operating under high vacuum and low temperature conditions, the ribbon drives material in up-and-down circulation turnover motion, ensuring uniform heating. The fixed vessel design eliminates rotary vacuum joints for better vacuum stability, while bottom hemisphere valve discharge ensures thorough material removal with no residue.

Working Principle

Wet material is fed into the cone vessel through the top feed port. The jacket and hollow ribbon are fed with hot water/thermal oil/low pressure steam while the vessel maintains high vacuum to lower solvent vaporization temperature.

The variable frequency driven ribbon agitator rotates, lifting material upward from the cone bottom along the vessel wall. Material falls back to the bottom by gravity, forming continuous circulation turnover that constantly renews the heating surface and accelerates solvent volatilization.

Volatilized solvent vapor passes through the top dust filter and is extracted by the vacuum unit, with optional external condenser for solvent recovery. After drying completion, the bottom hemisphere discharge valve opens for direct discharge.
