Operating Principle
The Model LW centrifuge consists of two rotating components: the drum and the screw conveyor (spiral). The drum rotates at high speed, creating centrifugal force that separates solid particles from liquid. Solid particles settle on the drum wall while the screw conveyor, rotating at a slightly slower speed, pushes the solids toward the discharge port. The differential speed between drum and conveyor is controlled by the transmission ratio.
