The TZ series cone-type three-in-one machine integrates filtration, cake washing, vacuum drying and automatic discharge inside a single fully enclosed vessel. The TZ1200 is a preferred size for pharmaceutical API and fine chemical batches: its conical filter media enlarges the effective filtration area, and the cone-shaped bottom discharges the last cake completely so valuable product is never left behind. Processing fine crystals, heat-sensitive intermediates or potent compounds inside a closed system protects both the operator and the environment.
Complete Discharge Cone Design
  • The cone bottom has no flat residual zone — cake and mother liquor flow out by gravity, leaving no dead product at the end of each batch.
  • Conical filter cloth follows the vessel contour, increasing filtration area at equal shell diameter and nominal volume.
  • Discharge valve opens fully for automatic residue removal; filter media is replaced quickly through the service opening.

Q1. How is cake discharge different from a flat-bottom Nutsche filter dryer?
In flat-bottom designs the agitator must push the last cake layer toward the outlet and a thin residual layer often remains. The TZ cone bottom lets gravity carry the entire cake to the discharge valve, so batches end clean and product yield is higher.
Q2. Why is the filtration area larger at the same nominal volume?
