Working Principle

Decanter centrifuge, also known as horizontal screw discharge decanter centrifuge, is a piece of mechanical equipment that adopts the principle of centrifugal sedimentation. It can realize continuous and automatic separation of solid-liquid, liquid-liquid or oil-sludge-water mixtures with density differences.

By generating strong centrifugal force through high-speed rotation, heavy solids in the suspension settle on the inner wall of the drum and are continuously discharged by the screw conveyor. Light and heavy liquids are separated through different outlets, achieving functions such as dewatering, clarification, classification and concentration.

Decanter centrifuge is a mechanical equipment which utilize the principle of centrifugal and sedimentation and can carry out continual separate the suspend liquid with density difference.
