Product Overview
This innovative filter press features a novel design with a main filtration body consisting of filtration tank, screen, end-plate pullout device, and automatic dreg discharging system. During operation, filter aid is mixed with material in the mixing cylinder and transmitted by pump onto the filter screen to form a filter cake layer.
Filtration Process
Once a stable filter cake is established, the minute filter aid particles create countless micro passages that entrap suspended impurities while allowing clear liquid to pass through. The actual filtration occurs through this cake layer. When the filter cake reaches optimal thickness, feeding stops and compressed air or steam is used to dry the cake. The vibration dreg discharging device then activates, unloading dregs through gravity and vibration. For sticky filter cakes, manual assistance may be required.
